I've been following this somatic practice for a few months now and I find this body awareness work is helping me to notice the habitual  tension I create in my body and instead learn how to create more ease and as someone who has a history of anxiety symptoms and chronic fatigue this is very helpful when it comes to any stressful events of the moment. Falling asleep becomes easier and walking has become more pleasurable.

How can this method help with so many different types of things (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual)? That seems hard to believe.

The premise of this work is that we are chronically making unnecessary effort at all levels of our experience. Because it is habitual, we are unaware of it. But it affects us negatively because the strain produces inflammation, irritation, discomfort, and fear.
This method helps to facilitate awareness of how we make this unnecessary effort. By becoming aware of how we make the unnecessary effort, we discover how to soften or release it. And as a result, we experience greater ease and clarity at all levels.
The real proof is in the pudding, as they say. And for that, you need only to put it to the test. Follow along with the simple guided explorations, and you will have a direct experience of it.

Is this difficult to do? Do I need to be able to meditate or focus? Is it complicated? Most things don't work for me, so I am concerned I won't be able to do this either.
